Villa Blu Guesthouse - Hermanus

The location is quite far from the main town area, but it's very close to a wonderful beach and the cliff path that offers amazing views of the ocean. There is a great restaurant within walking distance that serves delicious food. the rooms are clean and cosy, with comfortable beds and the bathrooms are spotless. the breakfast is amazing, with a beautiful presentation and a great variety of dishes to choose from. the staff is friendly and always willing to help.

The common areas are a bit small, which sometimes can make it difficult to find a quiet or private spot to relax.

The hotel offered spacious rooms and great ocean views, with a beautiful beach within walking distance. The breakfast was delicious with various options available to cater to different food preferences, while also being value for money. The staff were cute and accommodating, providing us with privacy, yet being friendly and helpful at the same time. The location was perfect, with whales visible from the balcony and easy access to local restaurants within a 5-10 minute car journey.

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious guesthouse. The staff, including Michelle and John, were incredibly kind and helpful, making me feel like a VIP. The breakfast spread was absolutely amazing, with five-star quality and a wide variety of delicious options. The location was perfect, as it was only a short car journey away from some of the best beaches in the area. The room itself was spacious and well-fitted, providing all the amenities I needed, including ironing facilities and a flat-screen TV. The hotel also had a beautiful garden area and a sun terrace, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. The proximity to a restaurant and the best beaches in the area, along with the excellent service and room amenities, make it a top choice for a relaxing getaway.

Great Breakfast and Hospitable Staff

The breakfast was amazing and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The spread of fruits, juices, and croissants offered during breakfast was the best I have ever tasted. The location of the hotel was also amazing, being situated close to the beach and tourist attractions. the staff went out of their way to make reservations for us for certain activities which was very helpful.

The room conditions were not up to our expectations, the bed was uncomfortable and the room was quite dusty, which made the stay less enjoyable. during our stay, there were poor communications between the staff and management, leading to some misunderstandings which took a lot of time to be resolved.

Everything is what i need and want.

Had an amazing xmas stay! Location was perfect , walking distance to the beach and some great restaurants nearby. Loved the cozy and well, decorated rooms, and the breakfast was delicious with made, to, order options. the fruit and cheese platter on arrival was a nice touch and made us feel welcomed.

Our room was a bit small, but it was cozy and still had all the necessary amenities.
